New e-ticket with Dome Cathedral is ready

As of today, July 9, a new e-ticket with a photo of Riga Dome Cathedral and fireworks (see below) will be gradually made available in all places where e-tickets are sold. The total amount of printed new e-tickets with Dome Cathedral is 4 million.

The design of yellow e-tickets is changed twice a year. It is a view of Riga (in 2010, it was a classic panorama view of Riga, but in 2011 – a photo of the Blackheads House) and then a child’s drawing (in 2010 it was a low-floor tram drawn by Vineta Siliņa, but in 2011 – a tram drawn by Kristofers Krūmiņš).

Although the yellow e-ticket got a new design, its functions did not change – it can be reloaded with tickets for a certain number of trips, time tickets and group tickets.

It shall be also reminded that e-tickets are available in more than 400 trade places – in the outlets of "Rīgas satiksme" (at terminals, customer service centres) and ticket vending machines, as well as in "Narvesen", "Plus punkts", "Preses apvienība" stores, "Latvia Post" offices in Riga, "Maxima" supermarkets and some Statoil petrol stations.

As mentioned before, "Rīgas satiksme" has also prepared folders with e-ticket collections, which everybody can buy in any of "Rīgas satiksme" customer service centres.
